Arrive in Nairobi at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After customs and immigration formalities, you will be welcomed and drive to Rhino Watch Lodge. Afternoon game drive at Solio Game Reserve.

After breakfast, drive to Samburu National Reserve for lunch.After lunch, you will have some time to relax, before setting off to an afternoon game drive. Samburu game reserve has a unique resident wildlife species like the reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx and the blue legged Somali ostrich. You will return to camp in time for dinner.

Samburu is an authentic African experience. It has a rugged, semi-arid landscape and is perhaps best known as the birthplace of Elsa the lioness in the classic movie Born Free. Wildlife is diverse here, including all three big cats – lion, leopard, and cheetah, as well as elephants, buffalo, and hippos. The region is also home to the Samburu people, a group less well known but certainly as colorful and interesting as the Maasai.

Breakfast at your Camp. Depart back to Mount Kenya Area and proceed to Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Arrival in time for lunch, and depart for afternoon game drives in the conservancy and visit a chimpanzee sanctuary. Return for Dinner and overnight.
Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a 364sq km wildlife conservancy situated between the foothills of Mount Kenya and the Aberdares and its game-to-area ratio tops the Kenyan park and reserve league. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya has over 10000 large mammals and it is the only park where the big 5 and chimpanzees can be seen. It is also where the fastest growing population of rhino in Africa can be found. There is southern white rhino, about 80 endangered black rhino and in a special sanctuary there are two of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino.
